Swim Programs & Pools

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Aquatics Program staff encourages residents to build a life-long passion for swimming while enjoying the water. We offer general swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and swim leagues. The department is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in a fun and friendly environment.

Two Year-Round Pools

(Summer Season is Memorial Weekend through mid-August) 

(Fall/Winter Season is August through December)

YEAR-ROUND POOLS: Collier Pool and Corpus Christi Natatorium

The Natatorium is our indoor OLYMPIC-STYLE POOL facility designed to host competitive swim meets. The pool has many lanes for lap swimming, making it ideal for conditioning. It now has a large, tiled pool floor with lane stripes to guide the path for swimmers. Enjoy the warm activity pool or jump into the deep end from one of two 1-meter diving boards available! We invite you to come for a tour and book a fun party for your guests to have an extraordinary experience.

Collier Pool is our outdoor pool, which features the BIG BUCKET DUNK! Enjoy the beach-inspired entry, experience the splash of the big bucket, fun water features, picnic tables, relax under the gulf streams, or jump into the deep end! The pool also includes six lanes and is heated during cold weather for year-round lap swimming.

Summer Pools

We have some exciting new concept pools with fun features to consider. Our H-E-B Pool is a wonderful choice for younger and inexperienced swimmers with its zero-depth entry pool, fun water features, cabanas, and a party-concession area. The fun water features encourage children to splash in the water and are perfect for play! Collier Pool is an outdoor pool that offers lap swim and several play features. The West Guth Pool features a zero-depth entry pool, climbing wall, and splash water features. We invite you to come and check out these new pools and enjoy time in the pool with family and friends!

Splash Pads Open for Play!

(Operate May 1 to October 31)
Tuesday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Closed Monday for maintenance, except on holidays.

Corpus Christi offers five splash pads to delight many children. Each facility offers different interactive water features, so check them all out. The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department invites you to come out, get wet, and let the fun begin!

All the splash pads are FREE for everyone to enjoy!

Splash Pads are at Bill Witt Park, Cole Park, Lindale Park, Salinas Park, and West Haven Park.
