Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (TCPA) Transparency Star Program
The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (TCPA) Transparency Star program recognizes local governments for going above and beyond in their transparency efforts.
Efforts to enhance public pension transparency have been gaining momentum in recent years amid concerns regarding actuarial practices and plan solvency. HB 3320, passed in the 84th Legislative session, for example, increases accountability among public pension plans exceeding $100 million in asset value.
The City of Corpus Christi is dedicated to increasing our financial transparency in regards to public pensions.
