The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department would like everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience on our beaches. We ask all visitors to be aware of the lifeguard schedule and follow a few important safety recommendations when venturing into our coastal waters.

(September 6, 2024 – May 28, 2025)
Gulf Beaches - Mobile Patrol:
Monday to Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
McGee Beach:
No lifeguards on duty.
North Beach:
No lifeguards on duty.

Memorial Day to Labor Day
(May 29, 2024 – September 4, 2024)
Gulf Beaches - Mobile Patrol:
Monday to Thursday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
McGee Beach:
Monday to Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
North Beach:
No lifeguards on duty.

Tips for Your Safety & Enjoyment
- Ask the lifeguard on duty about the condition of the surf so that you know before entering the water.
- Look for flags regarding surf condition.
- Watch for rip currents. View NOAA video about rip currents survival guide.
- When in doubt, don’t go in the water.
