Everhart Road Construction Complete

PROJECT COMPLETE - The Engineering Services and Public Works Departments are excited to announce the completion of the Everhart Road Project.

The Everhart Road Project from Holly Road to South Padre Island Drive will include full-depth reconstruction of the four-lane roadway and a center turn lane, new curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic signals, and street lighting improvements. The roadway will be reconstructed with concrete. Utility improvements include stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas. Construction is anticipated to be 18 months.

The City of Corpus Christi adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 4.69 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $16.87.
