OPERATION HEAT HELP 2023-2024
The City of Corpus Christi Gas Department and the Utility Business Office are proud to provide Operation Heat Help assistance to those in need for the coming season.
This annual program offers financial assistance to qualifying customers by covering up to $100 (per household) for the gas portion of their utility bill from November 2023 through February 2024.
CC Gas is currently accepting applications until March 31, 2024. To qualify for help in paying your natural gas bill, you must meet the following income guidelines:

3 $3,419.00
4 $4,125.00
5 $4,832.00
In addition to the above income guidelines, the person applying for assistance must be the utility account holder. To access the Operation Heat Help application, please look under the "Documents" section of this webpage or visit the CC Gas Department’s temporary office address at 2820 S. Padre Island Drive, Ste. 114, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78415. Application submissions should be emailed to SusannahU2@cctexas.com or delivered to the CC Gas Department office.
When you visit the Gas Department, please be prepared to provide the following documents:
- Current utility bill.
- Proof of identification for all household members.
- Proof of all household income for the past 30 days, including wages, unemployment benefits, child support, TANF, SSI, etc.
Please remember that this assistance is only for the natural gas portion of the utility bill. Funds are limited each year, and awards are given to those who qualify on a first-come, first-served basis.
