Arterial & Collector streets are the streets that connect us to most of the city's business areas. Projects in this category are usually paid for with voter approved Bond dollars.
With the Street Improvement Plan, Council agreed to change the Bond cycle from every four years to every two years. The new cycle helps to keep progress on improving the city's major streets at a steady level. The first Bond program under this strategy was approved by voters in 2014.
The Engineering Services department manages these projects on behalf of the Street Operations department.
