PROJECT COMPLETE - The Engineering Services and Public Works Departments are excited to announce the completion of the Two-Way Street Conversion Project.

The Two-Way Street Conversion will transition five Downtown area streets from a one-way direction to two-way. The five streets being converted are: John Sartain Street, Schatzell Street, Lomax Street (formally William Street), Peoples Street, and Starr Street from Shoreline Boulevard to Water Street. Improvements will include a thin asphalt overlay, new signage, and pavement striping. The project is anticipated to begin in January 2021 and will take about 60 Days. The project completion is based on weather as cold temperatures can affect the overlay process.
