During the month of February, local Corpus Christi organizations have planned a myriad of events to celebrate and honor the achievements and contributions made by African Americans to society. These organizations encourage all citizens of Corpus Christi and surrounding areas to participate in these commemorative events.
Below is a listing of events in the City of Corpus Christi, provided by the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education – Corpus Christi (TABPHE-CC), Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce, and NAACP Corpus Christi. Each coordinating organization should be contacted for further information. All events are FREE and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
