Holiday Tamale-Making Demonstrations - SOLD OUT

Two Demonstrations on December 2nd, at 10:30am and 1:30pm

Sandra Vásquez, inventor of the ‘Mas Tamales’ masa spreader, will demonstrate how to make tamales with a glide of the hand. She will teach how to spread masa on a dozen cornhusks in about a minute — that’s fast! The demonstrations include recipes and food samples. Due to the overwhelming response to this seasonal favorite, reservations for these demonstrations are closed. Learn more about these tamale-making demonstrations.

The City of Corpus Christi Arts & Cultural Commission is comprised of citizens who provide guidance and advise on the Public Art Program, the Public Art Collection, and the Arts Grants. We invite interested individuals to serve on the Learn more about the Arts & Cultural Commission by applying online
