The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to offering a wide range of arts and cultural activities to enrich the lives of its residents and visitors. We invite you to enjoy our public art tours, concerts and movies in the park, visit our historical park, participate in art exhibit openings, and so much more.

Take our ONLINE SURVEY so that you can share your ideas with us regarding our parks, recreation facilities, and programs which will be used to draft the Parks Master Plan Update 2018. The survey is available in both English and Spanish. Survey ends October 5, 2018. The news release provides more information.

Open Call for Art Grants 2019

The City of Corpus Christi’s Arts & Cultural Commission has issued an Open Call for Arts Grant 2019 applications to arts organizations whose programs or services demonstrate cultural significance for the community and will stimulate the local business economy by attracting visitors to Corpus Christi. Applications are for matching grants of up to $15,000.  

Deadline to apply is 5pm on Monday, October 22, 2018.

Workshops are required for first-time applicants and those who scored below 80 in a previous application (see news release below for schedule).
