2012-2013 SEASONAL FLU UPDATE
HEALTH DISTRICT ADVISES FLU VACCINE IS NOW AVAILABLE
The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District would like to advise residents that the flu vaccine is now available. Health officials advise that everyone over six months of age should be vaccinated.
The flu vaccines are available at the Horne Road Clinic located at 1702 Horne Road during the following schedule:
Mondays: Walk-Ins, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: By appointment only, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fridays: By appointment only, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The flu vaccines are also available at the Robstown Clinic located at 710 E. Main in Robstown during the following times:
Mondays: Walk-Ins, 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
The cost of the flu vaccine is $20 per dose (cash or check) for individuals 19 and over and $10.00 per dose for ages 2 - 18 years of age with no insurance coverage. Current Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Gold Plus Plans cards and all Humana Insurance are accepted. The flu vaccine is offered subject to availability. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
