Truck Visits, Tours or Parades
Fire Trucks are available to come to your school, parade, or event although they will remain in service and may be scheduled after 10 a.m. To schedule a fire truck visit, please complete the Fire Truck Request Form and fax to Captain James Brown at 361-826-4530. If that is not possible, then please call 826-8423 or e-mail JamesB@cctexas.com. Please leave your name, contact number, date and time of the event. We will also need the approximate number and ages of the target audience.
Station Tours are available any day after 10am, but should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. To schedule a station tour, please complete the Fire Truck Request Form and fax to Captain James Brown at 361-826-4530. If this is not possible please call the station you wish to tour directly and schedule with the station Captain. For station address and phone numbers please go to the Fire Station Information page.
Scheduling Form for Truck Visits, Tours or Parades - All requests should be made at least two weeks in advance. Safety Presentations
Fire Safety Presentations are available to Senior Citizen’s groups, community centers, neighborhood association meetings, and other organizations.
Scheduling Form for Safety Presentations - All requests should be made at least two weeks in advance. To schedule, please fax the completed Public Education Scheduling Form to Captain James Brown at 361-826-4530. If that is not possible, then please call Captain Brown at 826-8423 or email JamesB@cctexas.com. Please leave your name, address, phone number, what type of service you are requesting, the date, and the number and ages of the audience.
Other Safety Programs
Home Inspections and Fire Escape Planning are available upon request to the Corpus Christi Fire Department. A “Hazards in the Home” checklist will be provided and a firefighter may be scheduled to walk through your home to help identify obvious safety hazards and assist you in making an escape plan.
Mobile Fire Safety Trailer is available for week-end and community events. It allows parents and children to learn about fire prevention and fire safety in a realistic environment. It contains a kitchen area, upstairs bedroom, and first floor living room.
Health Fair Booths are available with fire safety information only (no EMS).
Fire Extinguisher Training with speaker only and Fire extinguisher training with hands on demonstration is available to all community groups (adults only) or businesses.
