The Graffiti trucks will be in zip codes 78407 and 78417,  the week of May 27, 2013.

Graffiti Removal Program

Along with an ordinance, an important City tool for combating the graffiti problem is the graffiti removal truck, which follows a systematic process for removing graffiti by zip code zones.

Each week the graffiti removal trucks target a different zip code area to remove graffiti. To find out which zip code areas the trucks are targeting this week, refer to the scroll at the top of this page. The graffiti truck also removes graffiti on private property, as long as the City has received a signed consent form from the property owner.

Depending on the type and amount of reported graffiti, some zip code areas may take more time to complete than others. The truck may not be able to respond immediately to requests, but does sweep the City in a systematic approach in order to most effectively abate graffiti in all areas of the City. The Corpus Christi Police Department maintains a calendar of the zip code locations and the progress of the truck through the zip code zones.

How to Report Graffiti

The Corpus Christi Police Department strongly encourages you to immediately report graffiti in your neighborhood.  Reporting graffiti quickly ensures that it will be removed as soon as possible by the city graffiti removal teams. Graffiti left upon buildings and fences reduces the property values of everyone in the neighborhood and contributes to a sense of decay and lawlessness.

To report an act of graffiti in progress, Call 911.

To report graffiti when the offenders have already fled the area or are unknown:

Call CCPD non-emergency number(s): 361-886-2600 or

Submit an Online Vandalism Report with the Police Department, or

Submit a clean-up request to the City Customer Online Center.
