A friendly reminder from the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department that the 2010 Beach Parking Permits are available now. Permits are required on most areas of the gulf beaches which are posted on-site. The permits need to be displayed on the vehicle windshields.
-
Permits are sold on the beach every week during the summer season from Memorial Day to Labor Day and year-round at the following locations: Academy, Stripes, City of Corpus Christi (Central Cashiering), City of Port Aransas, H-E-B (stores 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, Aransas Pass and Flour Bluff), Corpus Christi Convention and Visitors Bureau, Nueces County Padre Balli Park Headquarters, and Texas Star.
-
The cost for the permit is $12. We want you to have a wonderful experience and avoid the cost of a ticket for parking on the beach without a Beach Parking Permit which is $150. Beach visitors are encouraged to purchase the parking permit in January for twelve months of beach access and enjoyment. We invite you to PLAY EVERY DAY!
-
Please Remember to Be Beach Smart…safety first, swim with caution, and please obey all posted signs.
