3rd Annual CCSC Event to Benefit Toys for Tots
The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department and Corpus Christi Spook Central are pleased to announce the return of the popular Heritage Park Ghost Tours benefiting Toys for Tots with U.S. Marine Corps Reserve on site to accept donations on December 5, 2009. Two separate tours (8pm–10pm and 10pm–12am) will take visitors through historic downtown Corpus Christi’s Heritage Park and some of its homes rumored to be haunted. These tours are hosted by Corpus Christi's foremost authority on the paranormal, Corpus Christi Spook Central.
Join in on this historic ghostly walking tour and listen to the stories of Heritage Park’s most haunted homes, mischievous spirits and lost souls.
Who is the little boy who has been seen and heard playing
around the Sidbury House?
Who is mysterious woman watching from the second floor
balcony at the McCampbell House?
Who is the little girl in red who has been seen dancing in the
windows of the Galván House after hours?
Hear these chilling tales and more as we explore Corpus Christi's most historic grounds. As a special guest, we will be joined by member of Corpus Christi's foremost authority of paranormal investigations, Corpus Christi Spook Central (CCSC). The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December of each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
REGISTRATION:
You are encouraged to register early, as these tours fill up fast. Space is limited to thirty (30) guests per tour so please call for reservations. The price is $2 for adults and $1 for children between the ages of 7-12 (please no children under the age of 7) with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy (valued at $5 - $10 dollars). If you are unable to participate in the tours but would still like to support Toys for Tots, donations will be accepted at the Galván House in Heritage Park through December 11, 2009.
